The Integrations and Update buttons show in the Plan view toolbar. Click Integrations to see the list of InEight products integrated with Schedule. The green dot icon on the Integrations button indicates there is an active integration in Schedule. The Update button is used to pull the data changes from the integrated InEight product into Schedule. After you click Update and initiate the sync, changes cannot be made to the schedule until the sync is completed.
Currently, the only InEight product integration available is with Estimate.
To configure the integration of Estimate job data with Schedule workspaces, see Integrated Solutions InEight Integration Estimate-Schedule for more information. After the integration has been set up, you can do the following in Schedule:
Add Estimate schedules to workspaces.
Sync changes made to the Estimate job.
Conduct cost risk analysis with Estimate’s total cost values.
Run cost risk simulations using cost risk items from the Schedule WBS structure created through the Estimate integration.
Import cost item resources from Estimate into Schedule activities.
